The Information Regarding 2000 Casualties on the Armenian Side in Shushi is Incorrect, Says Gevorg Altunyan
There has been active dissemination of information in the media claiming that more than 2,000 deceased servicemen have been discovered and handed over to each side in the area of Shushi city. Auroranews contacted Gevorg Altunyan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, to verify the authenticity of the news.
He refuted the information: “It is definitely incorrect to state that the Armenian side has had 2,000 casualties in the area of Shushi. At this moment, we cannot specify an exact number, but the news does not correspond to reality.”
