Urgent Steps Needed to Preserve Artsakh's Cultural Heritage
On November 25, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazyan received Christos Jakopoulos, the Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law at the Council of Europe, and Alexander Gesell, the Political Director of the Council of Europe.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister provided comprehensive information on the humanitarian crisis that has arisen in Artsakh and the steps being taken to address it. Aivazyan emphasized the urgency of creating appropriate conditions for the displaced Armenian population of Artsakh to return to their homes and the protection and restoration of their rights.
Moreover, the necessity of taking concrete actions to preserve Artsakh’s cultural heritage was underscored.
