Weapons and Ammunition Discovered in Trunk of "VAZ-21010" Vehicle

On November 20, law enforcement officers from the Malatia police department, along with the 1st Traffic Police battalion, inspected a 40-year-old man's "VAZ-21010" vehicle at a stationary checkpoint located on Isakov Avenue, as reported by the Police website.

In the trunk, various types of hunting rifles were discovered, along with over 100 cartridges for different calibers and firearms, including an assault rifle similar to a Kalashnikov. The individuals in possession of these items failed to present the necessary documentation.

The weapons and ammunition have been seized, and examinations have been ordered. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and preventive measures are ongoing.
