This is a Political Vendetta by Nikol Pashinyan, It Is His Petty Grudge – N. Zohrabyan on the Appeal to the Constitutional Court Regarding the Revocation of Tsarukyan's Mandate
What happened during this session of the National Assembly was not even surrealism; it was the pinnacle of absurdity. No evidence was presented that Gagik Tsarukyan has been engaged in business activities. This was stated by a member of the parliament from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, after the session where it was decided to appeal to the Constitutional Court concerning the revocation of Gagik Tsarukyan's mandate.
In Zohrabyan's description, this is an obvious political vendetta. “It is a political vendetta by Nikol Pashinyan against Gagik Tsarukyan. After handing over Artsakh, instead of dealing with the issues of prisoners of war, he is engaged in vendettas against our compatriots who are currently negotiating with Turkish soldiers to stay in their homes a few hours longer to move their belongings,” she said.
The parliamentarian emphasized that law enforcement officers, who spend the whole day searching opposition members' homes and dispersing peaceful protests, should be sent to help those people. “Now they are dismantling the ‘Artsakh Welcomes You’ sign in Karvachar, and tomorrow there will be a ‘Azerbaijan Welcomes You’ sign there. Send the police there. This man (Nikol Pashinyan) has had priorities throughout his life, and even now his priority is his petty, vindictive grudge,” she added.
It is noteworthy that 14 parliament members participated in the session of the National Assembly council regarding the appeal to revoke Gagik Tsarukyan’s mandate. Ten members of the ‘My Step’ faction voted in favor, while 4 members of the Prosperous Armenia faction voted against. Representatives of the ‘Enlightened Armenia’ faction did not participate in the session. The decision of the NA council will be sent to the Constitutional Court, which must decide within 30 days whether the submitted decision is constitutional or not.
