Another Terror Attack in Afghanistan: Preliminary Reports Indicate 14 Dead
In the market area of Bamyan city, Afghanistan, two separate explosions have resulted in the deaths of at least 14 people, with over 45 injured, according to preliminary reports. As reported by Armenpress, this information comes from the IHA news agency, citing Afghan media.
The blasts occurred in the city of Bamyan, which serves as the center of the Bamyan province located approximately 200 km west of the capital, Kabul. Provincial Governor Latif Azimi stated, “The explosions took place in a crowded area, in the city market, within a very short interval, at 4:30 PM local time. The wounded have been transported to the regional hospital.”
Bamyan, known for being a relatively peaceful settlement, has been shaken by the explosions, creating widespread panic in the area and surrounding towns. Security forces have sealed off the area as a precautionary measure. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
