Road Conditions in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are passable.

In the Gegharkunik and Lori regions, there are places with black ice. In the municipalities of Goris and Sisian in the Syunik region, there is mixed rain and fog.

There is black ice on the road to the village of Jajur in Shirak province. In the Aragatsotn region (fog) and in the cities of Spitak and Vanadzor in Lori province, snow is falling. Fog is also observed in the Spitak bends and in the city of Ashtarak in Aragatsotn province.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for freight transport due to precipitation. According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to ban the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
