Russian Peacekeepers Supply Water to Residents of Askeran Region
Residents of Artsakh are being supplied with water through the Askeran region, where wells have dried up. This was reported to journalists by food management officer Dmitry Pashkin, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.
“The peacekeeping forces are designed not only to restrain the conflicting parties but also to provide assistance to the locals. We have been approached regarding the lack of clean drinking water in the Askeran region. That is why we are here; we have come to help. This is not a one-time action. We will regularly assist the local residents in delivering clean drinking water,” Pashkin noted.
