‘Rospotrebnadzor’ Transfers Mobile Laboratory Complex to Armenia
During a visit of the Russian delegation to Armenia, the head of ‘Rospotrebnadzor’, Anna Popova, announced the transfer of a mobile laboratory complex to the Armenian side, according to the official website of the agency.
“During the visit of the Russian delegation to the Republic of Armenia, head of ‘Rospotrebnadzor’ Anna Popova transferred a mobile complex consisting of microbiological and diagnostic laboratories to the Armenian side,” the statement said.
It was noted that three mobile laboratories and three clinics provided by ‘Rospotrebnadzor’ are currently being utilized in Armenia in accordance with WHO international health regulations and in the fight against tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS.
The mobile microbiological laboratory can analyze 300 samples for the detection of pathogens of infectious diseases of groups three or four, as well as for PCR diagnostics. Furthermore, the mobile laboratory can conduct research on up to 1,600 samples per day.
