Turkey Offers Syrian Militants Residence in Azerbaijan
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that Turkish intelligence has proposed to the leaders of two Turkey-affiliated terrorist groups, 'Sultan Murad' and 'Suleiman Shah,' to relocate militants and their families to Azerbaijan. This was reported by Infoteka24.
Turkey made this offer to the Turkmen militants solely because they are considered to originate from the Caucasian region. It is noteworthy that the number of Syrian militants gathered from northern cities of Syria and Afrin, and transferred to Azerbaijan from Turkey, has reached 4,000. They are being led by the Turkish army and Turkey-affiliated armed groups.
