Turkey's Parliament Approves Erdogan's Decree to Send Troops to Azerbaijan
Turkey's Parliament has approved a decree by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to send troops to Azerbaijan. This was reported by the TASS news agency, citing the Turkish NTV television channel.
According to the television channel, lawmakers from Erdogan's ruling Justice and Development Party, the main opposition Republican People's Party, the National Unity Party, and the Good Party have endorsed the decree.
The decree provides for the deployment of Turkish Armed Forces personnel to Azerbaijan for a period of one year.
