One Azerbaijani Brother Dies and Another Injured in Landmine Explosion in Karabakh
Two Azerbaijani citizens stepped on a landmine in the Fizuli region, which fell under Baku's control following the escalation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to a report by ArmPress, citing TASS, this was announced by Azerbaijan's General Prosecutor's Office.
“Yasin and Asif Ahmadov, brothers, stepped on a landmine in the Fizuli region. Yasin Ahmadov died at the scene, while his brother, Asif, has been hospitalized,” the statement from the prosecutor's office reads.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and investigations have been launched.
