Brother of Vazgen Sargsyan Discusses Prospects of Relocating the Statue of the Sparapet from Shushi
The brother of Vazgen Sargsyan, Aram Sargsyan, who is the leader of the "Republic" party, has addressed the potential relocation of the statue of the Sparapet in Shushi.
"Dear people, thank you and I am touched by your concern and willingness to relocate Vazgen's statue from Shushi. When the bodies of our fallen children, the graves of the heroes from the previous war, and the sacred relics of Ghazanchetsots are taken out, there will certainly be space in that vehicle for Vazgen's monument as well. As of now, Vazgen's grave is in Yerablur, and his house-museum is in Ararat," Aram Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page.
