100 People Recover from COVID-19 in Armenia; 160 New Infections Confirmed
As of August 16, Armenia has confirmed 168 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of infected individuals stands at 41,663. A total of 100 people have recovered from the virus, while 6,018 continue to receive treatment.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, 34,584 individuals in Armenia have recovered from COVID-19. Additionally, there has been 1 new death reported as a result of the virus, bringing the total death toll to 818. The number of deaths recorded for other causes has reached 243.
A total of 185,310 citizens have been tested, with 1,521 tests conducted in the last day.
