VIDEO: Special Forces in Minsk Lower Shields in Solidarity with Protesters
In front of the government building at Independence Square in Minsk, special forces have lowered their shields as a sign of solidarity with the protesters. This was reported by Meduza.
After the arrival of participants in the demonstration, new units of law enforcement emerged from the government building, but they did not show any aggression.
Onliner.by reports that law enforcement announced that people can stand in front of the government building for as long as they wish, and if there are no provocations, the special forces will not use force.
