Video: The Process of Clearing Lake Sevan's Shoreline from Illegal Constructions Has Begun

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Environment, David Grigoryan, made a post on Facebook announcing that the process of clearing the shoreline of Lake Sevan from illegal land grabs and constructions has already begun.

“Last week, Minister Petrosyan conducted an inspection of the shoreline areas of Sevan Peninsula. Immediate solutions were instructed for the violations identified on-site. The process of clearing the shoreline of Lake Sevan from illegal land grabs and constructions has already started.

Since early morning, the dismantling of a makeshift outdoor café, constructed about a month ago by the area operator without the necessary construction documents in the central area of Sevan Peninsula, has commenced,” wrote David Grigoryan.
