State of Emergency Extended in Artsakh Republic for Another Month

According to the decree signed today, August 12, by the President of the Artsakh Republic, Arayik Harutyunyan, the state of emergency declared on April 12, 2020, has been extended for another month, until September 11, including at 22:00. This information is reported by the press service of the President of Artsakh.

Two important changes have also been made in the decree on declaring a state of emergency in the Artsakh Republic.

From now on, entry into the territory of the Artsakh Republic will be permitted for individuals without Artsakh citizenship, provided that they comply with the special conditions set by the Commandant. This means that under these specified conditions, no Commandant's permission will be required for entering Artsakh territory.

The maximum allowable number of participants in public events has also been revised. Henceforth, sports, cultural, educational, leisure, festive, and commemorative events can be organized with up to 40 participants instead of the previous 20. The relevant decisions stemming from the decree will be signed by the Commandant subsequently.
