Police Issued a Report for Israel Hakobkukhyan for Not Wearing a Mask While on Hunger Strike
The world boxing champion Israel Hakobkukhyan spoke with journalists without a mask during his hunger strike, for which police officers issued a report today.
The incident between the police and Hakobkukhyan was broadcast live on Facebook by Vahagn Chakhalyan, the head of the 'Will' civic movement initiative.
It is noteworthy that Israel Hakobkukhyan did not have his passport with him; he asked one of his friends to bring it so that he could show it to the police officers. After that, the police issued a report for violating the decision of the commandant, but they noted that the imposition of a fine would be decided by the court.
As a reminder, on August 12, world boxing champion Israel Hakobkukhyan declared an indefinite hunger strike near the statue of Garegin Nzhdeh, aimed against the Istanbul Convention, the Lanzarote Convention, the exploitation of Amulsar, and other issues.
