Over 3800 Fines Issued for Not Wearing Masks in the Last Day: Avinyan
Over 3800 fines have been issued in just one day for not wearing masks, which is not a good sign. This indicates that we continue to improperly comply with the regulations, stated the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
He was unable to provide the total number of individuals fined for not wearing masks since the declaration of the state of emergency. “Exceptions are defined by the decisions of the Deputy Prime Minister. I have already noted that in some cases, the requirement to wear masks will be lifted for certain groups. We will discuss this soon. I understand that wearing a mask is not pleasant, but we need to learn to do it to prevent the spread of the virus. This is the way forward,” Avinyan emphasized.
