LHK Proposes Vacation Packages for All Healthcare Workers Involved in Pandemic Response
Mané Tandilyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the Luysavor Hayastan faction, has made a proposal to the Prime Minister of Armenia to grant vacation packages to all healthcare workers who have been involved in the fight against the pandemic during this period and continue to selflessly perform their duties in adherence to the Hippocratic oath.
The justification for this proposal lies in the fact that healthcare workers have been operating under extreme workloads and erratic schedules. The aim of the proposal represents a socio-psychological approach that emphasizes the importance of healthcare workers' healthy lives, allowing them to recuperate and encouraging them to continue their activities.
Implementing this proposal would not only prioritize the lives and health of healthcare workers but also stimulate the hotel business in the Republic of Armenia, which has faced serious challenges due to a sharp decline in tourism caused by the spread of coronavirus, leaving many businesses in a paralyzed state.
