24 Patients Being Treated for Coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital
As of August 11 at 11:30 AM, 24 patients are being treated for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 18 of whom are residents of Shirak province, reported the Shirak Provincial Administration.
Since March 1, a total of 8,355 tests have been conducted in healthcare facilities in Shirak province and at the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. From May 12 to August 10, 7,001 tests were conducted in Gyumri, with 15 new cases of coronavirus confirmed on August 10.
As of today, 483 citizens are under home self-isolation in the province, 101 of whom have tested positive for the virus but are asymptomatic, with monitoring conducted by primary healthcare services.
A total of 502 residents of Shirak province have recovered and been discharged from the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital. Meanwhile, 58 patients have been transferred to the capital. The province has recorded 36 fatalities.
