We may be an island of democracy, but we are definitely not a bastion: Daniel Ioannisian
Daniel Ioannisian, the head of the 'Stable Citizens' Initiative NGO, wrote on his Facebook page:
“Since April 17, 2018 (the date Serzh Sargsyan was elected Prime Minister), we have done everything possible to prevent the international community from congratulating Serzh Sargsyan, so that his struggle against protesting citizens would not be legitimized. Against this backdrop, Nikol Pashinyan came to power and quickly congratulated Alexander Lukashenko, who maintains power through clear electoral fraud and violence against his own people. We may be an island of democracy, but we are definitely not a bastion.”
