Video: 250 Patients Infected with Coronavirus Recover at Astghik Medical Center, Returns to Normal Operations
Astghik Medical Center reports: "Astghik MC is returning to its normal operations, once again becoming a No COVID clinic. For two months, the center admitted severe COVID-19 infected patients under the program and support of the RA Ministry of Health, creating a special infectious pulmonology department for this purpose. Severe cases with accompanying diseases were transferred here, considering the medical center's technical and professional capabilities.
During June and July, 250 patients infected with the coronavirus recovered in the infectious pulmonology department of Astghik MC, among whom were the most severe cases. Summarizing the results of the two-month period, Astghik MC's pulmonology department is resuming its previous scope and operations, as it will no longer admit COVID-19 infected patients. Astghik MC is ready to tackle any complex situation and will completely engage in the fight against the disease again if necessary.
In all cases, preventive measures and adherence to safety norms continue in the center for the purpose of patient safety.”
