Armenia Leads Region in COVID-19 Infection and Mortality Rates per 1 Million People
Armenia continues to lead the region in both COVID-19 infection and mortality rates per 1 million people. According to regularly updated data from worldometers.info, as of August 10, the infection rate for COVID-19 in Armenia is 13,642 per 1 million people, with a mortality rate of 269.
As per the latest statistics, the COVID-19 infection rates per 1 million people in the region are as follows:

It is worth noting that on August 10, Armenia reported 23 new cases of COVID-19 and 5 new deaths. The total number of confirmed cases has reached 40,443, and the total number of deaths stands at 1,024. The number of recoveries in one day is 96, bringing the total to 32,616, while the number of current patients undergoing treatment is 6,793 (a decrease of 78 in one day).
