Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers to Meet in '3+2' Format
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are set to meet in the '3+2' format under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group, which includes the three co-chairs from Russia, the United States, and France, along with the respective foreign ministers. This meeting could take place in early autumn, contingent upon the current situation in the relations between the two countries and the dynamics of the coronavirus pandemic. This information was conveyed to RIA Novosti by a source in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the source, the primary focus of the meeting will be to ease tensions along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and to seek diplomatic solutions to the issues at hand within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. It was also noted that the venue for the meeting has yet to be determined.
