Have Azerbaijani Hackers Breached Armenia's Government Internal Network? NSS Is Trying to Determine Right Now
“NSS employees are currently working to clarify whether the attack actually took place or not and what information leak occurred,” said Armen Khachatryan, head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian government, in an interview with Auroranews, commenting on reports that Azerbaijani hackers have infiltrated Armenia's government internal network.
Khachatryan added that although NSS has been working for several hours, they cannot provide clear information at this time.
It should be recalled that media expert Samvel Martirosyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Azerbaijani hackers claim that they have penetrated the government internal network and taken 55 terabytes of information. Don’t ask me if this is true or false. I don’t know. It would just be nice to hear comments. And to understand when Armenia will finally have a unified cybersecurity center, when the issue of protecting critical infrastructures will be raised. And finally, when will we hear that someone is held responsible for the leaks? There have been so many leaks, yet we have never heard about the cause of the discovered leaks and the responsible persons. P.S. If this leak actually happened, then we are in deep trouble.”
