Ararat Mirzoyan, Gagik Tsarukyan and Romanos Petrosyan Hold Meeting

According to the ‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper, recently the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction, Gagik Tsarukyan, and the governor of Kotayk province, Romanos Petrosyan, held a meeting. The meeting took place in the garden of Gagik Tsarukyan's villa.

As per our information, they sought to clarify the future of the new youth residential complex being constructed in the town of Abovyan, initiated by Gagik Tsarukyan, for which the governor has created obstacles.

Ararat Mirzoyan attempted to ease the situation to ensure that the construction of about 20 buildings would proceed as planned. The issue is that Tsarukyan had announced his intentions to build residential buildings and had initiated the projects, but the governor of Kotayk has imposed restrictions on the process, hindering this investment project.

In response to ‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper’s inquiry regarding what was discussed during the meeting with Tsarukyan, Kotayk governor Romanos Petrosyan said, “I have never been in the garden of Mr. Tsarukyan's villa, and no meeting of that format has taken place.” Gagik Tsarukyan's spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan also stated in our conversation that, “I have no information about such a meeting.”
