20 Businesses Producing Alcohol Gel Inspected
The Inspection Body for Market Surveillance of the Republic of Armenia conducted inspections from March 26 to 27 this year on the safety of cosmetic products, specifically hand sanitizers (alcohol gel), produced by 20 businesses in the Republic of Armenia.
As a result, it was found that the products of 19 businesses were accompanied by conformity assessment documents (a declaration is available) and bore the appropriate labeling, while one business's products did not have a conformity assessment document but did have the proper labeling. This business has already applied for and obtained the conformity assessment document as per the requirements of the Inspection Body.
Inspections regarding the safety of the aforementioned products will continue.
