Pedestrian Accident in Shirak Region: 42-Year-Old Man Airlifted to Yerevan
Today, a pedestrian accident occurred in the Shirak region. Around 14:30, a resident of Gyumri, 22-year-old Avetis Mandallyan, struck a pedestrian, 42-year-old Mikael Barikyans, while driving his Infiniti FX 70 with license plate 170 on Shirakatsi street in Gyumri.
According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, the injured individual was transported to a hospital in Gyumri with extremely severe injuries, and following the directive of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, he was airlifted to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. Under the investigator's instructions, the vehicle has been moved to a designated storage area maintained by the police.
