Major Car Accident in Syunik Region: Collision of RA Ministry of Defense 'Kamaz' and '07'

A major car accident occurred today in the Syunik region. Around 07:00, on the 160.8 km section of the Megrik-Yerevan highway, the vehicles involved were a 'Kamaz' truck with license plate RA 3294 T, driven by 61-year-old Hovhannes H. from Armavir, and a Vaz 2107, driven by 59-year-old Boris A. from Syunik.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver of the '07', Boris A., was transported to Goris Medical Center with bodily injuries. Preliminary information indicates that the cause of the accident was poor visibility due to heavy fog, and the driver of the 'Kamaz', who works at the RA Ministry of Defense's military unit N, did not notice when he crossed into the opposite lane, leading to the collision.
