Person Who Set Off Fireworks Past Midnight Fined
On March 8, just past midnight, officers from the Jermuk Police Department discovered an individual using fireworks in the courtyard of one of the hotels in Jermuk city during the prohibited hours.
The man was summoned to the police station, and an administrative violation record was drawn up against him. The police reported that, according to the relevant article of the RA Administrative Offenses Code, using fireworks during nighttime hours results in a fine set at 100,000 drams, which is equivalent to 100 times the minimum wage.
