Fire Breaks Out in the Midst of Voskepar and Kirants Villages

On March 11, at 14:08, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a forested area was burning in the midst of Voskepar and Kirants villages in the Tavush region.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 16:11 and extinguished by 16:28. Approximately 3 hectares of shrubbery and grasses were burned in the incident.

The firefighting operations involved 10 employees from the “Hayantar” State Non-Commercial Organization’s “Sevkar Forest Management” branch and 10 residents from Kirants village.
