BMWs Collide on Isakov Avenue, Injuries Reported
A major car accident occurred in Yerevan today, March 11. At approximately 17:00, two BMW vehicles, one with license plate 79 RL 999 and the other with 36 NA 733, collided near the Russian Orthodox Church on Isakov Avenue.
According to shamshyan.com, two individuals sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the 'Astghik' Medical Center. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the victims, followed by the rapid response team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The rescuers disabled the vehicles and secured the area. One of the BMWs veered off the roadway, struck a basalt curb, and continued forward, ending up on a grassy area.
The police are currently investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured parties.
