Over 150 Pigs Die in Fire in Ararat Region

An extraordinary incident occurred in the Ararat region on March 10. The Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service received a call around the specified hour reporting a fire at an animal farm located at 1/18 Masis 9th Street, requiring firefighters' assistance.

According to Shamshyan.com, before the Masis firefighters arrived with four operational teams, citizens and farm workers attempted to combat the fire but were powerless to prevent its spread. Once the firefighters from Masis number 25 arrived, with the help of citizens, they managed to extinguish the blaze at the animal farm.

Firefighters rescued the mother pigs and piglets from the barn. After extinguishing the fire, over 150 dead pigs and piglets were discovered in the barn.
