U.S. Citizen Wanted for Smuggling Detained at Airport

Thanks to the explanatory work of the officers from the Central Division of the Police, on March 7 at 20:56, a U.S. citizen, Aram S., was brought to the Central Division after the arrival of the Paris-Yerevan flight at the Zvartnots Airport.

He had been wanted since October 2, 2008, under articles 215 (Smuggling) and 268 (Illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances not aimed at sale) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
