Soldier Who Struck Pedestrian Twice Identified
The car with license plate 48 CC 400, a Mercedes, has been moved to a special area under the protection of the Yerevan Traffic Police following the directive of a senior investigator from the Armenian Investigative Committee.
The vehicle was driven by 23-year-old Gosh Sargsyan, a resident of the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan, who is suspected of hitting a pedestrian twice near 11 Khanzhyan Street on March 1. After the incident, Sargsyan allegedly left the victim helpless and fled the scene.
According to sources, Gosh Sargsyan serves in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
