Rescue Team Locates Lost Russian Tourists Near 'Trchkan' Waterfall
On March 8, at 20:48, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that tourists had gone missing on the road leading to the 'Trchkan' waterfall in Lori Province. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), two firefighting teams and an operational group from the regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene.
Rescuers, in cooperation with the police, found Russian citizens Valery S. (born 1999) and Anastasia B. (born 1999) in an area northeast of the 'Trchkan' waterfall, inside a building. They were subsequently transported to the city of Gyumri.
