COVID-19 Infection Confirmed in Russian Citizen

A COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in a Russian citizen who arrived in Russia from Italy. According to Russian news outlets, the individual traveled to Russia on an Aeroflot flight. Initially, the infected person was placed in a general ward before being moved to an isolated room. Epidemiologists have assessed the individual's condition as satisfactory.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the first two cases of coronavirus were recorded in Russia. Both patients had arrived in Russia from China. Earlier, upon the instruction of Prime Minister Mishustin, Russia had closed its border with China.
