Citizen in Artsakh Hits Police Vehicles with Car and Flees
According to the Facebook page of the Artsakh Republic Police, on February 29 at approximately 00:25, a driver of a "VAZ-2114" vehicle, identified as M. G., a resident of Stepanakert, deliberately hit a police vehicle belonging to the Artsakh Republic Road Police while ignoring the lawful demand of a police officer to stop the car. This incident occurred in front of building number 35 on Azatamartikner Street in Stepanakert. The driver then collided with a "Toyota Corolla" vehicle and fled the scene.
The "VAZ-2114" vehicle was later located at the intersection of Azatamartikner and V. Mamikonyan streets. M. G. was brought to the Stepanakert police department, where it was revealed that he was driving without a valid driver's license.
