Car Leaves Road in Aragatsotn, Driver Dies on the Spot

Today, February 23, a tragic car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 09:30, 24-year-old Gor Asatryan, a resident of Hnaberd village, lost control of his Volkswagen Passat while driving on the Aparan-Artik highway near the administrative territory of Geghadir village. Under still unknown circumstances, the vehicle veered off the road, rolling over several times and landing upside down in a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver died at the scene. His body was found outside of the vehicle. By the investigator's directive, the car was towed and taken to the special storage area of the Aragats police department.
