Dry Weather Expected Without Precipitation

The meteorologists have presented the weather forecasts for the coming days. In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, dry weather without precipitation is expected on August 7-8.

On the evening of August 9, as well as during the night and afternoon of August 10-11, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in most regions, with localized heavy rains possible on August 9-11, along with the possibility of hail. It is noted that during thunderstorms, wind gusts of 20-25 m/s are anticipated.

In the Ararat Valley, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in some areas of Shirak, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are expected during the evening hours. The air temperature is not expected to change significantly.

In Yerevan, dry weather is also expected on August 7-8. However, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecasted for the evening of August 9 and the night and evening of August 10-11, with wind gusts of 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms. Today, the daytime temperature in the capital will be between 33-35 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, it will register at +29...+31 degrees.
