Details Revealed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the Gas Station Explosion
On August 6, at 12:25 PM, the regional operational management center of Armavir received a report that an explosion occurred at a gas station along the road leading to the village of Sardarapat.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Rescue Service, two fire and rescue teams were dispatched from the regional rescue department to the scene.
It was found that the explosion occurred at the gas station located on 5th Street in the village of Norapat, without igniting a fire. Approximately 100 square meters of the upper concrete structures of the underground storage were damaged, and there was a leak of diesel fuel.
As a result of the explosion, two individuals were injured and transported to a medical center. The fire and rescue teams cordoned off the area, prevented the diesel fuel leak, and conducted monitoring.
