Patriot Missiles Are Necessary Not Only for Ukraine but for Us as Well, Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he cannot assist in providing additional Patriot missile systems to Ukraine, as the U.S. also has a need for armament. “We also need missiles. Biden has transferred a very large number of missiles to Zelensky,” Trump said in response to a question about Ukraine's need for Patriot systems.

Addressing the Russia-Ukraine war, he noted that the U.S. does not have direct involvement in the conflict. “An ocean separates us from that war. But it saddens me greatly that about 25,000 young people die every month between Russia and Ukraine. We are working in that direction, and I believe there is progress. This is a very brutal war, and there is significant hatred between the two leaders,” the President remarked.

Trump also touched upon the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, saying he did not want to claim that a final agreement had been reached but stated that “it is somewhat open now, and we control the strait.”
