Methadone Pill Fragments and Marijuana-Like Substance Found in Kosh Prison
At around 04:00 on February 18, 2020, employees of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia's "Kosh" Correctional Facility, acting on operational information, discovered a package wrapped in adhesive tape during a search in the residential area of the facility. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.
The inspection revealed separated fragments weighing 13 grams that resembled methadone pills, and a green substance weighing 14 grams, similar to marijuana. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and a forensic chemical examination has been ordered.
