Criminal Case Against 'Spitaktsi Hayko' Has Been Dismissed
The criminal case against the singer Haykaram Ghévondyan, known as 'Spitaktsi Hayko', has been dismissed a few days ago due to lack of evidence, following an incident that occurred on December 14, 2018, on Khanjyan Street, involving a double hit-and-run. This information was provided to LURER.com by Ghévondyan's lawyer, Ruben Baloyan.
The lawyer stated that it has been determined that the death was caused by the impact of the first vehicle.
To recall, on December 14, 2018, around 07:40, a contract serviceman of the Ministry of Defense, identified as A.C., driving the military vehicle 'Kia Sorento', license plate 0032 M, struck pedestrian Knarik Petikyan on Khanjyan Street in Yerevan, causing her death due to negligence.
It is worth noting that Haykaram Ghévondyan was charged under Article 242, Part 2, and Article 244 of the RA Criminal Code for failing to provide assistance to a pedestrian who fell onto the pavement after being hit and for leaving the scene of the traffic accident.
