Tragic Pedestrian Accident Occurs in Lori Province: Victims are Women
Today, February 13, a tragic incident occurred in Lori Province. Around 5:15 PM, 24-year-old Zhora Maleryan, a resident of Stepanavan, struck two pedestrians with his Mercedes vehicle.
As reported by shamshyan.com, the pedestrians died at the scene, while the Mercedes collided with a parked Opel car. Officers from the 1st platoon of the 5th battalion of the 2nd police regiment arrived at the scene.
A criminal case has been opened at the Stepanavan investigative department under Part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The police and the investigative department are working to gather complete information about the deceased and the driver.
The victims are identified as women: 61-year-old Azganush Melikyan and 60-year-old Emma Asulyan, both residents of Lori Berd.
