Three Employees of the Court of Appeal Sanctioned: One Dismissed
The Court of Appeal of Armenia has conducted a service investigation concerning the improper execution of official duties by employees of its office.
On December 26, 2019, by the order No. 1189-A of the head of the Judicial Department, a service investigation was initiated to clarify issues associated with the unacceptable performance of duties by staff members.
Based on the conclusions of the commission formed by the head of the Judicial Department, as well as the materials from the service investigation and in accordance with various articles from the laws governing public service and judicial service, disciplinary actions have been applied to the following employees:
- Lilit Badalyan, head of the office of the Court of Appeal, received a severe reprimand.
- Mira Danielyan, who was performing as the chief specialist on a fixed-term contract, received a reprimand.
- Anahit Yeravandyan, a leading specialist at the office, was subjected to disciplinary measures resulting in the termination of her service, being dismissed from her position as of February 11, 2020.
