The Blue Mosque Has Collapsed
On February 2, at 16:18, the 911 call center received a report that the external stones of the Blue Mosque located on Rustaveli Street in Yerevan had weakened and were falling off.
A rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene.
It was determined that a section of the non-operational mosque on Rustaveli Street had collapsed. The rescuers have cordoned off the area.
