Driver Dies Suddenly While Driving, Causes Accident
On February 2, at 19:00, the 911 emergency center received a call reporting an accident near the 'Preventive Cardiology Center' on P. Sevak Street in Yerevan, where a vehicle had collided with a nearby kiosk, and smoke was visible. There is a victim at the scene.
A fire brigade from the rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yerevan was dispatched to the site. It was determined that a 'VAZ-21014' vehicle, driven by Slavik H. (born 1954), veered off the roadway at the intersection of P. Sevak and Dro Streets and crashed into a nearby kiosk. Before the rescuers arrived, the driver’s body was removed from the vehicle by local forces. The rescuers then disconnected the vehicle's power. According to preliminary information, it is possible that the driver died suddenly while driving, as reported by Gagik Shamshyan.
