It No Longer Matters Whose Intended Use That Gun Had - Zohrabyan

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, addressed the incident of gunfire that occurred today at the Erebuni Plaza on her Facebook page.

“From real threats and fake insults to bursts of gunfire: when we kept saying every day that this atmosphere of hatred and intolerance is dangerous, some of my colleagues were presenting an idyllic narrative from the National Assembly podium about an infinitely happy post-revolution citizen who strolls joyfully through the streets, and that in backyards, cafes, and pubs, everyone congratulates each other for this unprecedented happiness post-revolution.

When we warned that the hatred and aggression from the virtual domain would spill into real life, we were told that we simply did not want to see the pastoral paradise of the new Armenia. A moment ago, an armed individual entered the 'Erebuni Plaza' and took citizens hostage. And it no longer matters at all whose intended use that gun had - whether for Kocharyan, Sargsyan, Pashinyan, Naira Zohrabyan, or some X citizen.

This is already a disaster, and I do not know how it can be stopped. And is it even possible?” she wrote.
