Robert Kocharyan's Defense Team Boycotts Hearing

Robert Kocharyan's defense team did not appear at today’s court hearing regarding the case of Kocharyan and others.

“The fact is that during the judicial proceedings of this criminal case, the defense side has constantly faced disrespectful attitudes from the participants in the proceedings, particularly from the victim, who has repeatedly made offensive statements. However, the court has never taken adequate measures to prevent these phenomena. At the previous court session, one of the heirs of the victim made a threat, to which there was no reasonable response. It is clear that the court is trying in every way to conceal the unlawful actions of the victim’s side, thus questioning its impartiality. Obviously, under such conditions, we find ourselves in unequal circumstances. We are unable to fully realize our rights and obligations,
